Michael Blakemore Architects is an architectural design firm specializing in high end custom residential projects. We take each project and create a design solution that is a unique and highly personal expression of our clients’ architectural desires. Every project we undertake requires its own specific design solution reflecting its individual site, views and program. To meet this goal our company is established as an elastic model. It is our approach to select and assemble a group of collaborators and establish a specialized project team tailored to each individual project and client. Our firm does not work with a signature style rather we adapt to the stylistic desires of our clients.
The firm was established in 1998. Michael Blakemore is the founder and principle. The firm is positioned to provide architectural design services through an established network of associated professionals. Michael Blakemore Architects creativity is matched only by its attention to the details of business. We are dedicated not only to our clients’ creative goals but their financial ones as well. Project management and cost control are essential elements of the design process and are integrated into every project. The diverse talents and range of experience of the firm forms a well balanced team this is structured for maximum efficiency and client profitability. Mr. Blakemore received his 5 year professional degree in architecture in 1989 from The New School of Architecture in San Diego, California. He is registered to practice architecture in the State of California and State of New York. Mr. Blakemore’s experience is highly diverse and includes commercial, residential, hospitality and resort projects, mixed use and master planning.
